Job summary

Title:

Manager, Procurement,TRP Contract - Full-time Role, 35 hours per week

Competitive Salary Package

(subject to skills and experience) $173,627 to $201,783 + super TRP

Our opportunity:

The key focus areas of this role include:

1. 1) Lead Council’s procurement and contract management function, providing strategic direction, expert advice and business partnering services to deliver value-for-money outcomes and support organisational objectives.
2. 2) Develop, implement and oversee procurement governance frameworks and systems, ensuring compliance with legislative, policy and probity requirements and embedding consistent practices across the organisation.
3. 3) Drive procurement performance and continuous improvement, including strategic sourcing, supplier and contract performance management, procurement planning, capability development and the use of data and analytics to inform decision-making.

We’re looking for a strategic and experienced Procurement Manager to join our Finance team. You’ll bring a strong understanding of procurement and contract management in infrastructure, public sector or local government environments, together with a collaborative leadership style, to a team passionate about making a difference to our community.
