MEC is seeking an experienced mining leader to drive operational advisory and embedded workforce across Western Australia. You’ll lead a high-performing team, strengthen client partnerships and monitor workforce utilisation to support scalable growth.

Working with the Executive Leadership team, you’ll shape how MEC delivers embedded technical expertise to mining clients, align delivery with safety and technical standards, and grow profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent qualification.

What You’ll Be Doing

Leading our operational advisory and embedded workforce across Western Australia. You’ll drive business performance, strengthen client partnerships, monitor workforce utilisation, and develop a scalable operating model to support future growth.

Working closely with the Executive Leadership team, you will play a key role in shaping how MEC delivers embedded technical expertise to mining clients.

We’ll also be asking you to;

• Guide & develop Team Leads, and embedded consultants.
• Grow the pipeline through strong client relationships & targeted business development.
• Develop a clear understanding of operational challenges & devise mitigation strategies.
• Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across all client sites.
• Manage subcontractor performance & commercial arrangements.
• Stay close to operations & maintain a visible presence on client sites. (This will provide valuable insights to client priorities, consultant performance and emerging opportunities).

About You

As an experienced mining leader you’ve acquired operational credibility with commercial acumen and a genuine interest in developing people.

While previous consulting experience is an advantage, it's not essential. What matters most is your understanding of mining operations, your ability to build strong relationships, and your confidence in navigating complex technical and commercial challenges.
