Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (Victoria) seeks a Manager, Management Reporting and Engagement to lead a team of financial professionals delivering expert reporting and insights to senior managers and stakeholders. The role collaborates with Group Finance Managers to support budget development and financial management across the department.

Reporting to the Director, Budget Management and Partnerships (Deputy CFO), the Manager Management Reporting and Engagement will provide expert financial management support to senior managers and stakeholders on financial reporting and other aspects relating to the departments financial position.
The position leads a dedicated team of financial management professionals and reporting analysts with department wide responsibilities including management reporting, utilising financial position and analysis to create business insights and provides oversight and support to the Department’s Finance, Procurement and Budget Strategy Committee.
The Manager, Management Reporting and Engagement works closely with the Group Finance Managers to maintain and develop policies, procedures and systems to support effective budget development and financial management across the department.
This is an ongoing position.
The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
