Job description

Lead statewide intake functions and drive continuous improvement with Forensic Intervention Services. Lead a high-performing statewide intake and referral service Make a lasting impact on service access and community safety Work collaboratively with stakeholders across Corrections Victoria Earn VPS Grade 6 salary plus super1 ongoing full-time role available Forensic Intervention Services (FIS) provides evidence-based screening, assessment and intervention services for individuals in custody and the community. We focus on areas such as violent and sexual offending, restorative justice, violent extremism and family violence.

This role is responsible for leading and managing the Intake Unit, ensuring statewide referral, allocation and prison placement transfer functions align with organisational priorities and service commitments.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to drive service improvement, influence strategic decision-making and strengthen access to intervention services across Victoria.

What you'll do

As the Manager, Intake Unit, you will lead the delivery of statewide intake functions and oversee prison placement transfer activities to ensure eligible individuals can access intervention programs and services. You will:

• Lead and manage statewide intake, referral and allocation processes.
• Drive service improvement initiatives that strengthen operational efficiency and service integrity.
• Provide high-level strategic advice, briefings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Lead collaborative partnerships across Corrections Victoria, justice agencies and community stakeholders.

Eligibility

Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience is desirable. Successful candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment checks, which may include national police checks and misconduct screening.
