Job summary

Talison Lithium's Greenbushes operation seeks an experienced Infrastructure Manager to lead maintenance of site infrastructure, water treatment, and storage facilities. Reporting to Operations, you will guide maintenance strategy, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across a broad portfolio of essential services.

The role requires strong project and budgeting skills, with a focus on safety, stakeholder management, and leadership of the infrastructure team in a dynamic mining

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' maintenance experience in mining or heavy industry.
• Strong understanding of maintenance management, project management, environmental management, and business performance systems.
• Demonstrated people and project management skills, with construction experience desirable.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and cost variance analysis skills.
• Thorough understanding of safety regulations and standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage development of systems and processes to ensure environmental, regulatory, and site licensing compliance; include required reporting.
• Lead workforce training, awareness, and communications to build correct site culture and behaviors.
• Represent site with regulators on licensing, incidents, and compliance matters.
• Drive continuous improvement by developing policy and procedural enhancements for Infrastructure assets.
• Develop planning and monitoring systems for Infrastructure assets and KPIs.
• Establish training systems to enhance skillsets of Infrastructure crew.
• Plan and schedule site Infrastructure requirements to meet deadlines.
• Prepare business plans, operating costs, and capital budgets.
• Ensure maintenance and operational systems for Mine Water Circuits and Tailings Storage Facilities are robust.

About The Role

Talison Lithium's Greenbushes Lithium Operation is seeking a dynamic and experienced Infrastructure Non-Process Manager to join our team. Reporting to the General Manager - Operations, this pivotal leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and drive performance across a broad portfolio of essential site services. This includes infrastructure and mobile plant maintenance, water treatment plants, port storage facilities, tailings storage facilities, and mine water circuits. The successful candidate will contribute to the continued growth, safety, and sustainability of one of the world's premier lithium operations.

Responsibilities Include

• Manage the development of systems and processes to ensure legal compliance with the obligations (environmental laws, regulations, licences and permits) relevant to Site operations. Includes fulfilling all legal reporting requirements;
• Facilitating the development of the Site culture, which ensures the correct workforce behaviours through the development of workforce training, awareness, and communication programs;
• Manage relationships with the Regulators on Site specific issues - including liaison regarding Site licensing and obligations, incidents, compliance issues etc;
• Ensuring the establishment of strategies to maintain a process of continuous improvement; identifying areas of required policy and procedural development and to encourage the optimum involvement in and ownership of the Infrastructure assets;
• Development planning and monitoring systems the Infrastructure assets and appropriate key performance indicators;
• Establishment of training systems to continually enhance the required skillsets of the Infrastructure department crew members;
• Planning and scheduling site Infrastructure requirements to meet deadlines;
• Prepare the business plan, operating cost and capital budgets; and
• Ensuring adequate maintenance and operational systems are in place for the Site Mine Water Circuits and Tailings Storage Facilities to sustain the ongoing production profile

About The Candidate

It is preferred that the candidate should hold tertiary education qualifications in one of the following disciplines:

• Mechanical Engineering;
• Electrical Engineering;
• Civil Engineering; or
• Project Management

The Candidate Should Ideally Have The Following

• Minimum 10 years' maintenance experience in a mining or heavy industry environment.
• Sound understanding of maintenance management, project management, environmental management, and business performance systems.
• Demonstrated people and project management skills, with construction experience desirable.
• Strong analytical skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost variance analysis.
• Thorough understanding of safety regulations and standards.
• Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and computer skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Current WA SSE Qualification highly desirable
• Current 'C' class Drivers Licence.
