NAMBUCCA VALLEY COUNCIL is seeking an accomplished Manager Economic Development & Tourism to lead the region's growth and investment strategies. The role requires extensive expertise in economic development, tourism and regional growth, with strong commercial acumen and leadership experience.

You will report to the Director Corporate Services, directing programs, partnerships and initiatives to deliver tangible regional outcomes and improved community prosperity.

• Proven sector expertise - Extensive experience delivering economic development, tourism or regional growth initiatives, with a strong understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing regional communities.
• Commercial and strategic capability - A demonstrated track record of identifying investment opportunities, developing strategies and translating them into tangible results.
• Established stakeholder influence - The credibility and experience to work effectively with government, industry, investors and community leaders.
• Leads with purpose - Inspires teams, drives collaboration and gets things moving.

You'll also hold relevant tertiary qualifications or bring substantial equivalent professional experience.
