Job summary

The Sydney Roosters are seeking a friendly and results-driven Commercial Partnership Manager to join our Commercial Partnerships Team. The role reports to the Head of Commercial Partnerships and leads the servicing arm of the department, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and on budget with excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain key client relationships across the Commercial Department to ensure decision makers are well informed and expectations exceeded.
• Over deliver on Partner and Client expectations.
• Implement best practice to deliver creative activations for partners.
• Secure and maintain relationships with subsidiary providers to ensure delivery across sponsorship properties is in line with contractual inclusions.
• Provide feedback to the Head of Commercial Partnerships on servicing strategies and progress reporting.
• Assist with Club events delivery including Business Club networking events.
• Contribute to the goal of meeting or beating net profit budgeting from the Commercial Department.
• Work with the team to ensure Sponsorship and Hospitality packages align with growth projections.
• Ensure all partnership renewals align with the Club strategy and support year-on-year growth.

We are seeking a friendly and results-driven Commercial Partnership Manager to join our Commercial Partnerships Team.

About the role

The Commercial Partnerships Manager will report to the Head of Commercial Partnerships and play an integral role in the support and coordination of all aspects of successful campaign management with key clients. With a proven history of delivering excellent servicing of key partnerships and partner programs, the Commercial Partnerships Manager will lead the servicing arm of the Commercial Team under the direction of the Head of the Department. The Commercial Partnerships Manager will lead partner campaign implementation, ensuring partner campaigns are on time, deliverables are executed as agreed and on budget with excellent service.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain key client relationships across all areas of the Commercial Department to ensure decision makers are well informed, over serviced and have expectations exceeded
• Over deliver on Partner and Client expectations
• Implement best practice to deliver creative activations for partners assigned to individual portfolio
• Secure and maintain relationships with subsidiary providers to ensure delivery across all sponsorship properties is in line with contractual inclusions
• Provide feedback to the Head of Commercial Partnerships on servicing strategies for each partner and work with wider Commercial Team to ensure all Club partners are being provided consistently excellent service and progress reporting
• Assist with all Club events delivery including Business Club networking events
• Contribute to the Commercial Team goal of meeting or beating the net profit budgeting contribution from the Commercial Department
• Work with the rest of the Commercial Team to ensure Sponsorship and Hospitality packages are selling consistent with budgeted year on year growth projections
• Ensure all partnership renewals are aligned with the Club strategy and support the year-on-year growth of the Club commercial programs.
• Oversee profitability of line items to ensure contractual inclusions are consistent with Sponsorship Hospitality and Event Budgets
• Ensure appropriate systems and structures across the Sponsorship Portfolio are implemented to provide feedback regarding team/department performance.
• Work with Sponsorship & Sales Executive and Commercial Partnerships & Events Executive on strategic direction and delivery of Club corporate inventory, programs and events

About you

• Minimum 5 years previous experience in similar role
• Relevant Tertiary education is preferred

• Strong attention to detail and taking pride in accuracy
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Initiative and the desire to learn and build a successful career
• Be internally motivated with ability to work without constant supervision
