Job summary

Intuitive Recruitment is helping a respected accounting and advisory firm recruit a Manager for Wealth & Business Advisory in Sydney. The role offers no timesheets and a genuine, people-first culture, with ownership of a diverse client portfolio and the chance to deliver meaningful advisory work.

You will lead on compliance, advisory and relationship management, shaping client outcomes while mentoring junior staff and building lasting client partnerships.

Qualifications

• 4-6+ years of experience in business services or public practice.
• Tax licence preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax and accounting standards.
• Excellent communication skills and a client-first mindset.
• Ability to manage competing priorities with confidence.
• Experience with Xero, MYOB or APS.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of SMEs, partnerships, trusts and high-net-worth clients.
• Review and prepare financial statements, tax returns and compliance documentation.
• Deliver practical advisory services including budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management.
• Provide proactive tax planning strategies to optimise client outcomes.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, supporting their technical and professional growth.
• Build strong, long-term client relationships grounded in trust and commercial insight.
