Job summary

William Buck on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Manager to join a fast-growing team. In this role you’ll lead a portfolio of high-value business advisory clients, advise on tax strategies and growth opportunities, and ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards.

You will mentor junior staff, review statutory work such as financial statements, tax returns, BAS and FBT, and contribute to client budgets and year-end planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or relevant discipline.
• CA/CPA Qualified.
• Minimum 6years' experience in a public practice firm.
• Management and mentoring experience.
• Strong client relationship and leadership skills.
• Strong technical tax compliance knowledge.
• Excellent communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a portfolio of high-value business advisory clients.
• Advise clients on tax strategies and growth opportunities; prepare financial reports and ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge.
• Review statutory compliance work including financial statements, tax returns, BAS and FBT.
• Lead, coach and develop team members through regular feedback.
• Review client budgets, cash flow and year-end tax planning requirements.
