Job summary

Elevate Accounting & Advisory is seeking a Manager Accountant to lead a portfolio of business and individual clients in the Greater Albury-Wodonga region. You will oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns, and compliance, while mentoring staff and allocating work to ensure timely, accurate engagements.

Qualifications

• Strong technical accounting and taxation skills, including experience with financial statement preparation and tax compliance.
• Leadership and people management capabilities, including mentoring and workload management across engagements.
• Client service and communication skills, with ability to build long-term relationships and explain concepts clearly.
• Experience with accounting and practice management software; proficiency with Excel and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of business and individual clients and manage preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns.
• Ensure compliance obligations are met accurately and on time.
• Lead and mentor team members, allocate work, and monitor deadlines across engagements.
