Job summary

ACFS Port Logistics Pty Limited, Port Botany, NSW, is seeking a Management Accountant to join its finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will maintain the integrity of the general ledger, prepare management reports, analyse performance, and support cost management across the business.

The successful candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree and have at least 12 months in a similar role, with strong analytical, budgeting, and reporting skills to deliver monthly, quarterly, and year-end

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 12 months' experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger integrity and subsidiary accounting systems.
• Oversee timely preparation and analysis of financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Prepare month-end journals, review performance, and analyse variances against budgets/forecasts.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and monthly key account accuracy.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Coordinate fleet financials including registrations, asset tracking, and cost reporting.
• Assist Financial Controller in end-of-month reporting and detailed operational analyses.
• Support monitoring and improvement of day-to-day financial performance through reviews.
