Taking Shape is seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to turn financial data into insights that shape performance, drive growth and support informed decision-making across the business.

Qualificações

• Retail, FMCG or multi-site experience is highly regarded.
• Tertiary qualification in accounting and CA or CPA qualification.
• Strong management accounting experience including month-end reporting, analysis and commentary.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, organised approach with ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and analyse monthly management reporting, providing clear commentary on drivers of business performance.
• Complete variance analysis across actual results, budgets and forecasts.
• Partner with senior leaders to help them understand, manage and drive business and financial performance.
• Prepare weekly and monthly management reporting to support business decision-making.
• Participate in the annual budgeting process and support forecasting, review and challenge.
• Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
• Act as a Finance representative on relevant business projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, controls and reporting.
• Work collaboratively across the wider Finance team to continually improve service delivery.

Management Accountant

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Management Accountant to make a real impact on business performance. You'll play a key role in turning financial data into actionable insights that help shape business performance and drive growth.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll work closely with senior leaders to deliver meaningful financial insights, analyse business results, drive budgeting and forecasting and support informed decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly management reporting, providing clear commentary on drivers of business performance

About you
