Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with psychosocial disabilities or complex support needs.
• Experience supporting participants with mental health conditions.
• Ability to recognise and respond to escalation.
• Understanding of risk management and behavioural support practices.
• Confidence working with participants with a known history of substance use.
• Excellent communication, patience, and emotional awareness.
• Calm, reliable, and non-judgmental approach.
• NDIS-related clearances.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support tailored to the participant's needs and goals.
• Support the participant with daily activities and community participation.
• Build a positive and professional working relationship with the participant.
• Recognise early signs of escalation and respond appropriately.
• Follow behavioural support and risk management strategies.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment.
• Complete required documentation and report concerns appropriately.
