Concrete Schoolyard is a small, independent NDIS provider specialising in psychosocial disability, mental health, addiction recovery and complex support needs.
We’re currently recruiting experienced, reliable male support workers to join a small, consistent team supporting an adult male participant in Kensington.
This is a rewarding but potentially challenging role, and we’re looking for workers who are confident, grounded and comfortable supporting people with complex life circumstances.
We value practical experience, emotional maturity and the ability to build genuine relationships just as much as formal qualifications.
You’ll be supporting an adult male participant transitioning back into the community following a period in custody.
The participant has complex psychosocial needs, including serious mental health challenges, a history of substance use and difficulties with emotional regulation, impulse control and community engagement.
Your role will focus on helping establish stability, develop routines, maintain accommodation and engage safely and meaningfully in the community.
Commencement: Friday, 20 November 2026
We’re recruiting multiple workers to establish a small, consistent support team.
We’re particularly interested in applicants who can commit to regular shifts and provide reliability and continuity.
We’re looking for mature, confident and dependable workers who understand that effective psychosocial support isn’t about controlling someone or telling them how to live.
It’s about building trust, providing practical assistance and supporting people to make their own choices while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
Personal lived experience of mental health challenges or addiction recovery is also valued.
We’re not a large, generic NDIS provider, and we don’t try to be.
We specialise in psychosocial disability and believe that good support starts with matching the right workers to the right people.
