Job summary

UGL is seeking a trades professional for a hands-on maintenance role.

The job involves diagnosing, servicing, repairing and maintaining fuel storage and transfer systems, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, and contributing to asset reliability in a structured environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant mechanical trade qualifications.
• Experience in fixed plant maintenance (fuel services or Oil & Gas preferred).
• Confined space and working at heights tickets preferred.
• Australian citizenship and ability to pass a police check.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, repair and maintain fuel storage and fuel transfer systems.
• Report to Maintenance Supervisor and work in a hands-on maintenance environment.

Job description

T he Opportunity

This is a hands-on role giving you the opportunity to work on technically challenging systems, long term stability and skill development in a structured environment.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your primary focus will be diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining our critical assets and equipment, such as fuel storage and fuel transfer systems.

Hours: 38-hour work week in a ‘blue collar’ role supporting a strong work-life balance.

Monday – Thursday: 6:30am – 3pm

Friday – 6:30am – 1pm *EARLY FINISH ON A FRIDAY*

There’s also the option to do a week of travel each month to places like Woomera, where you’ll do 12-hour days and pick up decent overtime (time + half for first 2 hours, then double time).

Requires

• Relevant mechanical trade qualifications
• Proven experience working in fixed plant maintenance (fuel services or Oil & Gas preferred)
• Confined space and working at heights tickets (preferred)
• Australian citizenship and ability to pass a police check.
