Job summary

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our Neverfail operation on the Gold Coast. You will perform planned and breakdown maintenance on high-speed processing and packaging equipment, troubleshoot electrical faults, and engage in continuous improvement while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a trade qualification, valid electrical licence, and experience in a continuous industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Maintenance Fitter or Electrician.
• Valid electrical trade qualification.
• Valid Australian State Recognised Electrical Licence.
• Experience in a continuous process industrial electrical environment.
• Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLCs).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics in 3D AutoCAD.
• Comprehensive knowledge of AS/NZ 3000 and electrical safety acts/regs.

Responsibilities

• Completing planned and unplanned maintenance schedules and breakdown service requirements.
• Minimising downtime and waste of site plant and equipment.
• Delivering high-standard customer service and developing relationships with stakeholders.
• Resolving equipment reliability issues and driving continuous improvement.
• Producing accurate, timely reports using computer systems.
• Adhering to established document handling processes.
• Providing some remote support to other Neverfail sites.
• Managing inventory and spare parts.

Neverfail Spring Water is a great Australian success story and is a part of the Coca-Cola Europacific Partners group servicing approximately 70,000+ customers.

The business was created in 1987 by a Sydney based entrepreneur called Harry Hilliam and his family who lived on the Hawkesbury River who were lucky enough to have had a natural spring water source on their property called Neverfail as it “never failed to produce water, no matter how dry it got"!

Fast forward to today and Neverfail is Australia’s #1 spring water cooler business; it’s an untapped gem from both a profitability and sustainability perspective and has significant possibilities to expand in the future.

The Role

Due to internal promotions and growth, we are looking for Maintenance Technicians to join our amazing team!

You will be given full training when you start on all the equipment and technology you will be using to carry out your role successfully and will also be required to demonstrate safe work behaviours, lead by example and encourage others to do the same.

WHAT DOES YOUR NEW ROLE ENTAIL?

You’ll never be bored - the work is interesting, and no two days are the same!

You love to take the initiative to problem solve equipment reliability issues whilst identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Due to the front facing nature of the role, you are people orientated and keen to deliver a high standard of customer service all the while developing strong relationships with stakeholders (both internal and external).

A typical day would look like, but not be limited to:

• Completing planned and unplanned maintenance schedules and breakdown service requirements
• Minimising the operational downtime and waste of site plant and equipment
• Delivering a high standard of customer service and developing strong ongoing relationships with stakeholders (internal and external)
• Resolving equipment reliability issues and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and taking the initiative to identify and develop improvement opportunities
• Utilising sound computer skills with the ability to produce accurate and timely reports
• Adherence to established document handling processes
• Some remote support to other Neverfail sites, for example at Garbutt.
• Inventory/spare parts management.

We are keen to hear from those with:

• Experience as a Maintenance Fitter or Electrician (dual highly desirable)
• Valid electrical trade qualification
• Valid Australian State Recognised Electrical Licence
• Experience in a continuous process industrial electrical environment working with continuous high speed processing and packaging equipment
• Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLCs) with extensive electrical fault-finding skills
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics in 3D Auto Cad
• Comprehensive knowledge of AS/NZ 3000, the Electrical Safety Act, the Electrical Safety Regulation and the Electrical Code of Practice
• Awareness of OHS Legislation and processes
• Highly developed communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
