Job summary

Hilton Foods Brisbane is seeking a Maintenance Technician/ Fitter to maintain electrical and mechanical systems in a state-of-the-art, highly automated food processing plant. You will work with skilled trades staff to perform breakdowns, preventative maintenance, installations and servicing in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires Queensland Recognised Mechanical trade certification and at least 5 years' experience as a fitter, with strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Fitter.
• Demonstrated trade skill experience in food manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Keep plant electrical and mechanical components running reliably and safely.
• Tackle breakdowns, preventive maintenance, installations, repairs and servicing with a trades team.
• Identify and solve issues swiftly to maximise plant effectiveness and efficiency.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and drive innovation.
