Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician – LV & Ancilary to join our Ernest Henry Operations mobile maintenance team. You will service and repair LV and ancillary equipment, contributing to fleet reliability and safe, efficient mining operations.

You will read schematics, maintain records in the CMMS, and support apprentices and contractors on site, helping drive continuous improvement and safety across the operation.

Qualifications

• Diesel Fitter trade qualification completed and in good standing.
• Experience maintaining mobile mining or heavy equipment on site.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills are required.
• Experience with hydraulic and auto-electrical systems and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, maintenance and repairs on LV and ancillary equipment.
• Complete fault finding and breakdown repairs safely and efficiently.
• Conduct component change-outs across mobile mining equipment.
• Operate the fuel truck and complete daily servicing activities.
• Read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Complete maintenance records and work orders in the CMMS.
• Support apprentices, contractors and maintenance activities on site.
• Contribute to equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.

What’s the opportunity?

We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician – LV & Ancilary to join our Mobile Maintenance team at Ernest Henry Operations. This is an opportunity to work across a diverse range of equipment while helping to deliver safe, reliable and efficient mining operations.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing light vehicle and ancillary equipment, contributing to fleet reliability and operational performance across site.

You are a safety-focused Diesel Fitter who enjoys hands-on maintenance work and takes pride in delivering reliable equipment to support operations. Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter
• Experience maintaining mobile mining or heavy equipment
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience with hydraulic and auto-electrical systems
• High-risk licences including Forklift (rigging advantageous)
• Experience using CMMS or maintenance management systems
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Commitment to safety, teamwork and continuous improvement.
