Job summary

NES Fircroft, Roma, Queensland, is seeking multiple Maintenance Technicians to troubleshoot, test, assemble and maintain electro‑mechanical equipment in an industrial setting. You will ensure safety, quality and performance standards are met, with duties including fault diagnosis and repair, and interpreting technical drawings.

Ideal candidates hold electrical or mechanical qualifications with 2+ years in electro‑mechanical maintenance and knowledge of AC/DC circuits and fluid power.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience in electro‑mechanical maintenance or a similar industrial environment.
• Relevant electrical or mechanical qualification.
• Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, fluid power systems and electro‑mechanical devices.
• Experience with soldering, equipment assembly and electrical testing.
• Strong troubleshooting, computer and technical documentation skills.
• Oil and gas or other industrial experience highly regarded.
• Forklift and lifting/rigging licences advantageous but not essential.

Job description

We are seeking multiple experienced Maintenance Technicians to join our client based in Roma, Queensland.

This role will suit a technically capable individual with experience in troubleshooting, testing, assembling, repairing and maintaining electro-mechanical equipment, ideally within the oil and gas or a similar industrial environment.

You will be responsible for ensuring equipment meets technical specifications, identifying and resolving faults, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety and operational performance.
