Job summary

Thales in Australia is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to act as the 2IC to the Maintenance Manager, overseeing safe and efficient site performance. You will lead a skilled team, coordinate maintenance and IWT resources, and ensure asset reliability to meet production targets and contractual commitments.

The role requires a strong focus on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement, with experience in CMMS and MS Office.

Qualifications

Trade or Engineering qualification with significant maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial or similarly complex environment.
Proven experience leading teams and delivering maintenance programs.
Strong understanding of safety, compliance and reliability methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to lead change, influence stakeholders and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience using CMMS platforms and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a high-performing team with focus on safety and compliance.
Coordinate maintenance and IWT activities and resources to achieve production targets, asset reliability and contractual commitments.
Drive HSE compliance and asset management best practices across maintenance and IWT operations, and contractor activities.
Manage maintenance systems and planning processes.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives, incident investigations and corrective actions to enhance operational outcomes.
