Job summary

Bolton Clarke Group is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader to guide a team of maintenance professionals and manage statutory, preventative, and corrective maintenance across facilities. You will coordinate external contractors, allocate resources, and enforce health and safety standards to meet regulatory requirements.

The role focuses on efficient maintenance delivery, cost-effective procurement, and ensuring clean, functional common areas in Bolton Clarke Aged Care facilities and retirement

Qualifications

• Moderate experience as a Maintenance Officer is preferred.
• Certificate IV in Engineering is prescribed.
• First Aid Certificate is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health principles, Construction Practices and Legal and Regulatory requirements are preferred.
• Excellent Communication, Operational Effectiveness, Problem Solving and Planning and Prioritisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages the maintenance team, ensures efficient work allocation, scheduling execution of tasks to deliver statutory, preventative & corrective facility maintenance.
• Oversees the maintenance of cleanliness, functionality and orderly presentation of gardens and common areas across Bolton Clarke Aged Care Facility or Retirement Village.
• Conducts regular inspections to oversee the maintenance delivery according to relevant legislative codes and standards such as aged care workplace health and safety, manual handling and environmental management principles.
• Ensures efficient and cost-effective procurement practices, including obtaining quotes, issuing purchase orders, and managing invoice processing to optimise resource allocation.
