Job summary

For Purpose Aged Care in Narangba, QLD is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance operations, ensuring preventive and reactive tasks are completed efficiently while minimising contractor use.

This full-time role runs Monday to Friday and supports a safe, comfortable home for residents, with an emphasis on leadership and practical, cost-aware decisions.

Experience in building maintenance and knowledge of OH&S and Fire Evacuation legislation are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance.
• Understanding of OH&S, Fire and Evacuation legislation.
• Ability to handle a range of maintenance tasks, tools and equipment.
• Willingness to assist with occasional after hours work.
• Strong communication skills and respect for residents and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and make cost and prioritisation decisions.
• Genuine empathy and leadership to inspire your team.
• Tech savvy with digital record keeping and communication tools.
• Strong problem solving and time management skills.

About the Role

You will lead maintenance operations ensuring both preventative and reactive tasks are completed efficiently while minimising contractor use. Supported by our General Manager of Property and Property and Procurement Officer, your work week is Monday to Friday.
