Job summary

INDI Footscray is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead general repairs and upkeep across apartments and common areas, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting. You will manage maintenance schedules, coordinate contractors, and ensure compliance with safety and building regulations.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will work with stakeholders to maintain a safe, well‑maintained, and efficiently run property, with flexibility for after‑hours and on‑call work.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
• State Driver’s Licence (Class C preferred).
• Trade Qualified in mechanical engineering, electrical, plumbing, or related fields (desirable).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
