Job summary

Agrifutures in Melbourne seeks a skilled Maintenance Manager to lead a team of maintenance technicians and drive structured planning across the function. The role offers progression toward broader maintenance leadership over time, with close collaboration with production and site stakeholders.

You will develop the maintenance plan, implement improvements, and ensure reliable equipment performance while leading the two-year Maintenance Excellence programme.

Qualifications

• Mechanical trade qualification with hands-on mechanical capability.
• Proven supervisory experience with people leadership and trades management.
• Experience in manufacturing, processing or a comparable industrial environment.
• Exposure to planned and preventative maintenance systems.
• Experience improving maintenance reliability, planning or work management.
• SAP experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of maintenance technicians.
• Drive current operations towards planned and preventative maintenance.
• Improve maintenance planning, work order tracking and execution.
• Lead progress against the site’s two year Maintenance Excellence programme.
• Improve equipment reliability and reduce recurring breakdowns.

• Exposure to planned and preventative maintenance systems
• Experience improving maintenance reliability, planning or work management
• SAP experience
