Job summary

Add Staff, Inc is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead the site's electrical maintenance within a well-established manufacturing and production facility based near Kalbar. This leadership role oversees daily maintenance to keep production equipment safe, reliable and operational.

Ideal candidates hold an electrical trade qualification, with experience in industrial or FMCG settings, and proven supervision experience.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Electrical with experience in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Experience in maintenance supervisory or senior electrical maintenance roles.
• Proven experience leading a maintenance team in fast-paced production.
• Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance, PLCs, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure safety, productivity and accountability.
• Plan and coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance to maximise reliability and minimise downtime.
• Coordinate daily priorities with Production to address equipment issues promptly.
• Provide technical leadership and assist with complex faults and troubleshooting.
• Ensure maintenance activities meet safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement across maintenance.

Job description

We're seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead and coordinate the site's electrical maintenance function within a well-established manufacturing and production business based in Kalbar.

About the Role

This is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance function, supporting the team and ensuring production equipment remains safe, reliable and operational.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing direction, coaching and support to maintain a safe, productive and accountable team.
• Plan and coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance activities to maximise equipment reliability and minimise production downtime.
• Coordinate daily maintenance priorities with Production, ensuring work is completed efficiently and equipment issues are addressed promptly.
• Provide technical leadership and support to the maintenance team, including assisting with complex electrical faults and troubleshooting.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with company requirements for safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Monitor maintenance performance, provide regular updates to Management and drive continuous improvement across the maintenance function.

The Candidate

To be successful, you'll ideally have:

• Trade qualification in Electrical, with experience in industrial, manufacturing, automation or FMCG environments.
• Previous experience in a maintenance supervisory, team leader or senior electrical maintenance role.
• Proven experience leading and coordinating a maintenance team in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance, PLC systems, industrial automation and production equipment.
• Strong planning, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work closely with Production and Operations.
• A strong focus on safety, equipment reliability, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.
