Job summary

Inghams is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for our Lisarow site. You will lead the maintenance team, deliver preventative maintenance programs and coordinate with production to ensure maximum uptime across our processing facility.

The role requires strong leadership and a proven track record in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, plus CMMS expertise (Maximo, SAP or MEX). You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and guide a team through continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Trade or university qualification in Mechanical or Electrical.
• Maintenance supervisor experience required.
• Flexible and adaptable; able to handle change and high pressure.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Understand maintenance strategies and asset health principles.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills; ability to motivate and engage team and work with contractors.

Responsibilities

• Drive preventive maintenance and address plant issues to maximise uptime.
• Deliver general repairs and maintenance across the site.
• Respond to reactive maintenance and rectify faults promptly.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and implement corrective actions to minimise downtime.
• Coordinate with production to prioritise maintenance tasks with schedules.

Your opportunity to join our Maintenance Leadership Team at Lisarow

We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our Maintenance team at Inghams Further Processing Site at Lisarow. Reporting to the Maintenance Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for providing preventative maintenance to the site's manufacturing equipment to ensure maximum uptime and prolonged reliability.

With strong leadership experience, you will have excellent communication skills that can connect with colleagues at all levels. You will have a proven track record for delivering results and performance through collaboration and the development of your team.

This is a fast-paced environment, so it’s essential you can think on your feet, respond to issues in a timely effective manner and be able to deal with multiple priorities.

What you’ll do:

• Drive preventive maintenance programs and proactively identify and address plant issues before they occur.
• Responsible for delivery of general repairs and maintenance services across the site.
• Respond to reactive general maintenance work and rectify faults and breakdowns in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions to minimise production disruptions.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to prioritise maintenance tasks and support production schedules.
• Undertake a broad range of maintenance works including but not limited to equipment installations, overhauls, mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance.

What you’ll bring:

• Trade or university qaulification (Mechanical or Electrical)
• Maintenance supervisor experience
• Flexible and adaptable. Able to respond positively to change and high-pressure situations.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
• Technical understanding of different maintenance strategies and asset health principles
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage team members and ability to work with contractors/service providers.
• High level of experience with maintenance planning and scheduling using CMMS – Maximo, SAP or MEX.
