Job summary

Prestige Plumbing & Drains in Canberra is seeking a Maintenance Plumber (Qualified or 4th Year Apprentice) to join our growing team. This full-time role covers commercial, strata and residential sites across Canberra, with an immediate start and occasional overtime.

You will perform general plumbing maintenance, hot water replacements, gas appliance work, CCTV inspections and drainage services, in a supportive team environment with opportunities to develop skills and progress your career.

Qualifications

• Qualified plumber or 4th Year Apprentice with a strong work ethic.
• Current driver’s license and White Card preferred.
• Reliable, organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Prestige Plumbing & Drains is looking for an experienced Maintenance Tradesman Plumber or a motivated 4th Year Apprentice to join our growing team. We're a locally owned Canberra business with a reputation for quality workmanship, professional service and looking after our people. Our work takes us to a wide range of commercial and community facilities across Canberra, including hospital cafés, office buildings, aged care and early childhood centers, restaurants, bars and entertainment venues.

You'll provide professional plumbing maintenance and repair services to our established portfolio of commercial, strata and residential clients across Canberra. If you enjoy problem solving, delivering quality workmanship and working as part of a supportive team, we'll like to hear from you.

About the Role

Your work will include:

• General plumbing maintenance and repairs
• Hot water system replacements
• Gas appliance installations, servicing and replacement
• Gas leak investigations and repairs
• CCTV drain inspections
• High-pressure drain cleaning

This is a full-time position with an immediate start available. Some overtime will be required from time to time.

• Is a qualified plumber or a 4th Year Apprentice
• Holds a current driver's license and White Card

• Keeps work areas and vehicles clean and tidy

Experience in gas fitting, high-pressure drain cleaning, CCTV drain inspections, or excavation is highly regarded. However, we're happy to provide Ongoing training and career development provided, with company-funded licences, tickets and industry competencies available to the right candidate based on role requirements training for the right person who has a great attitude and is keen to learn.
