Job summary

NRG Gladstone Operating Services invites applications for a permanent Maintenance Planning Coordinator within the Maintenance Services Department at Gladstone Power Station. You will coordinate planning and scheduling of maintenance work, sourcing resources, spares and materials for equipment maintenance.

The role requires technical experience in power stations or heavy industry, with knowledge of planning and scheduling systems, and strong communication.

NRG Gladstone Operating Services – Gladstone QLD

There is currently a permanent position for a Maintenance Planning Coordinator within the Maintenance Services Department. NRG invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons interested in this permanent role.

As a Maintenance Planner within the Mechanical Maintenance workgroup, you will be responsible for coordinating the planning and scheduling of maintenance work including sourcing resources, spares and materials for equipment maintenance at Gladstone Power Station.

Key accountabilities of the role include:

• Ensuring suitable internal and external resources, spare parts and materials required for ongoing proactive, preventative, and corrective maintenance are sourced.
• Providing technical expertise into workgroup planning and plant maintenance strategies and systems.
• Contributing to plant continuous improvement strategies, departmental plans and site compliance by developing, implementing and promoting site maintenance systems and processes.

Essential Qualifications include:

• Technical experience in power stations or heavy industry, together with a working knowledge of mechanical maintenance systems/philosophy.
• Experience in planning and scheduling systems.
• Good communication both written and verbal.
• Proficient with the Microsoft office suite.
• Experience with CMMS Asset-suite desirable but not essential.
