Job summary

Iluka Resources in Eneabba, WA seeks a Maintenance Planner to develop detailed mechanical/electrical maintenance plans and safe work packages for routine, preventive, corrective and shutdown activities. You will build resource-loaded schedules and maintain SAP PM data, working with Engineering, Operations and Procurement to ensure readiness and reliability.

Initial 6–12 months cover materials cataloguing and BOM verification, followed by continued focus on planning and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or electrical maintenance planning experience required.
• Experience with maintenance data and BOMs is desirable.
• Experience with SAP PM or similar system is required.
• Strong scheduling and planning skills are essential.
• Proficiency in Excel and scheduling tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed maintenance plans and work packages for routine, preventive, corrective and shutdown maintenance.
• Conduct field inspections and walkdowns to define scope and readiness.
• Prepare weekly and four-week look-ahead schedules aligned with labor and plant availability.
• Maintain SAP PM data and equipment information and work history.
• Develop safe and executable mechanical work packages.
• Manage maintenance backlog and schedule compliance.
• Support verification of equipment and MRO data during readiness.
• Contribute to shutdown planning and execution with detailed scopes and schedules.
