Iluka Resources in Eneabba, Western Australia, is seeking a Maintenance Planner to develop high‑quality mechanical maintenance plans, safe work packages and resource‑loaded schedules for the Eneabba Rare Earths Refinery.
You will coordinate with Maintenance, Operations, Reliability and Engineering to ensure readiness and reliable plant performance, handling routine, preventive, corrective and shutdown work and supporting materials cataloguing and BOM data during initial readiness.
Iluka Resources is a leading global producer of critical minerals, zircon and high-grade titanium dioxide feedstocks. In partnership with the Australian Government, Iluka is developing Australia’s first fully integrated rare earths refinery at Eneabba in Western Australia’s Mid West.
The refinery will produce both light and heavy separated rare earth oxides, supporting diversified global supply chains for minerals essential to defence, renewable energy, electric vehicles, robotics and advanced technologies.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Planner will develop high-quality mechanical maintenance plans, safe and executable work packages, and realistic resource-loaded schedules for the Eneabba Rare Earths Refinery.
The permanent core focus of the role is mechanical and electrical fixed plant maintenance planning and scheduling, covering routine, preventive, condition-based, corrective, breakdown and shutdown work.
During the first 6 to 12 months of operational readiness, the role will also support materials cataloguing and the preparation and verification of equipment, spare parts, equipment bills of materials, and maintenance and materials master data. Following this period, the primary focus will remain mechanical maintenance planning and scheduling.
The role works closely with Maintenance, Operations, Reliability, Engineering, Warehouse, Procurement, contractors and original equipment manufacturers.
This position will operate on a 5:2, 4:3 roster. With Eneabba located three hours north of Perth and 1.5 hours south of Geraldton, the site will operate on a bus-in, bus-out (BIBO) roster, with new camp accommodation and facilities provided.
