Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd in Darwin is seeking a Maintenance Planner for a permanent 14 on 14 off mining-site role. You will plan maintenance, create parts lists, allocate resources and manage service letters and defects to optimise uptime.

Applicants should have a Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade, 2+ years supervising technical teams, and strong health-and-safety commitment. SAP knowledge is highly regarded; camp accommodation and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade (or related discipline) is required.
• Minimum two years supervising a team in providing technical solutions.
• Strong commitment to health and safety practices.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills.
• Knowledge of SAP is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Plan scheduled maintenance on all machines and equipment assigned to the role.
• Create parts lists and allocate resources, and complete work orders.
• Review defect lists and plan repairs at optimal times.
• Manage planning requirements for service letters, defect sheets, SOS actions, parts and resources.
• Maintain up-to-date bills of material for planned events.
