Job summary

Noumi is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our Engineering team. You will coordinate maintenance planning across the site, ensuring safe, reliable operations and well-planned shutdowns to minimize disruptions.

You'll drive preventative and corrective maintenance, manage statutory compliance, and work with trades and external contractors to deliver improvements. FMCG experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Maintenance Planner or in a reliability-focused role within manufacturing.
• Experience using MEX or similar CMMS systems.
• Experience managing maintenance stores and spare parts.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience coordinating external contractors is advantageous.
• Previous FMCG experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage maintenance work schedules to balance safety, production, quality and logistics.
• Plan routine preventative and corrective maintenance, plus statutory activities and major overhauls.
• Drive accurate maintenance data in the CMMS and ensure system information is up to date.
• Coordinate parts availability for planned maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Trades to identify process improvements and corrective actions.
• Coordinate servicing and engagement of external contractors for specialist tasks.

The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our Engineering team. This is a key role responsible for coordinating and driving maintenance planning across the site, ensuring maintenance activities are effectively scheduled, resourced and delivered to support safe, reliable and efficient operations.

Working closely with Engineering, Trades, Production and external service providers, you'll take ownership of maintenance planning across preventative and corrective maintenance, statutory compliance activities and major plant overhauls.

• Develop and manage maintenance work schedules, making the best use of production windows and planned shutdowns while balancing safety, production, quality and logistics requirements.
• Lead the planning of routine preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, statutory compliance activities and major plant overhauls.
• Drive the effective use of MEX, ensuring maintenance planning and system information is accurate and up to date.
• Coordinate the availability of parts and materials required to complete planned maintenance activities.
• Work closely with Engineering and Trades teams to identify and implement process improvements and corrective actions.
• Coordinate equipment servicing and engage external contractors for specialist maintenance activities.

What You'll Bring

You'll be a proactive and organised maintenance professional who enjoys bringing structure to a busy manufacturing environment. You're comfortable working autonomously, managing competing priorities and building strong relationships across operational and technical teams.

• Previous experience in a Maintenance Planner or similar maintenance/reliability role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using MEX or a similar CMMS/maintenance management system.
• Experience with maintenance or reliability stores and spare parts management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience coordinating external contractors and service providers will be advantageous.
• Previous FMCG experience will be highly regarded.
