Job summary

Uniting Westmead is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Officer for a 4-day-per-week role at Westmead NSW. The position is 30.4 hours weekly, with Monday and Friday anchor days, offering a salary of $31.51 per hour plus super and NFP salary packaging benefits.

A vehicle is provided for work, and occasional travel to nearby locations may be required. You’ll maintain facilities to a high standard, perform general repairs, and support residents by keeping spaces safe, clean and well-presented.

Are you a hands-on maintenance professional who takes pride in keeping facilities safe, functional, and well-presented?

We're looking for a Maintenance Officer to join our team at Uniting Westmead, where you'll play an important role in maintaining a welcoming and comfortable environment for older members of our community.

This is a 4-day-per-week role, with Monday and Friday ideally being your anchor days, although we can be flexible for the right person.

From time to time, you may need to work in other locations within the local area. You will have use of a Uniting vehicle for all work-related matters; however, the vehicle is not for personal use and must be garaged overnight at a Uniting location.

As our Maintenance Officer, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of our facilities, ensuring everything is safe, functional, and well-presented for our residents.
