Job summary

Uniting Westmead is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Officer for a 4-day-per-week role at Westmead NSW. The position is 30.4 hours weekly, with Monday and Friday anchor days, offering a salary of $31.51 per hour plus super and NFP salary packaging benefits.

A vehicle is provided for work, and occasional travel to nearby locations may be required. You’ll maintain facilities to a high standard, perform general repairs, and support residents by keeping spaces safe, clean and well-presented.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance or handyperson roles.
• Skills across plumbing, carpentry, or general repairs.
• Ability to work in a community or aged care setting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and repairs to facilities.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain outdoor areas and safe environment through regular checks.
• Work independently while being part of a supportive team.
