Inspired by the enduring legacy of the Sisters of Charity and their Founder Mary Aikenhead, we are now embarking on our most ambitious chapter yet: Bringing Care Home. We are seeking a qualified (desirable) trade person to join our Maintenance Team to provide general handyperson services to residential care service. As a Maintenance Officer you will work autonomously and as a team, to provide routine, planned, ad-hoc and respond to urgent maintenance requests and general garden maintenance. And the requests are varied! You can expect requests from planned maintenance works like painting, patching and flooring repairs, general pruning and planned mowing, through to assisting residents with sensors, water pressure, TV remotes or bathroom and handrail installations – no day is the same in Aged Care.
As the Maintenance Officer you will be part of a supportive, dedicated team at St Vincent’s Care Services Edgecliff. St Vincent’s Care Services Edgecliff is just 4km east of Sydney's city centre. Our small but homey 39 bed facility is located in a tranquil, leafy suburb within walking distance of public transport.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity.
Your employment is conditional upon the completion of all required pre-employment checks, including NDIS Worker Screening checks.
