Job summary

Downer is seeking a Maintenance Officer to support Land Lease Communities across Stockland's national portfolio from sites in NSW. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will handle onsite maintenance, safety checks and coordination of contractors to ensure high-quality outcomes for our clients and communities.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance, basic repairs or a trades assistant background.
• Strong knowledge of WHS requirements and Zero Harm principles.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and monitor service delivery performance.
• Current Driver's Licence and White Card.
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the first point of contact for onsite maintenance and minor repairs.
• Conducting routine site inspections, hazard identification and risk mitigation.
• Coordinating contractors, deliveries, supplies and consumables.
• Performing general maintenance, cleaning and pool testing activities.

We currently have an opportunity for a Maintenance Officer to join our workforce at Gables LLC and play a key role in maintaining safe, compliant and well-presented Land Lease Communities across Stockland's national portfolio.

Downer has been awarded a major Integrated Facilities Management contract with Stockland, delivering services across a national portfolio of commercial offices, retail centres, logistics facilities and land lease communities. This long-term partnership reflects Downer's strength in managing large, complex portfolios and delivering high-quality services at scale. We currently have an opportunity for a Maintenance Officer to join our workforce at Gables LLC and play a key role in maintaining safe, compliant and well-presented Land Lease Communities across Stockland's national portfolio. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes for our client and our communities.

What You'll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

• Acting as the first point of contact for onsite maintenance and minor repairs
• Conducting routine site inspections, hazard identification and risk mitigation
