St Scholastica's College Glebe is seeking a motivated Maintenance Officer to join the Facilities Team on a permanent full-time basis. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, support the presentation and safety of the campus, and assist with day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities include repairs to doors, locks and furniture, general building maintenance, garden upkeep, event setups, operating tools and College vehicles, liaising with contractors, and reporting safety hazards.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, supporting the presentation and safety of the College grounds as well as assisting with the day-to-day operational needs of the school.

Demonstrated experience in, handyman and carpentry services
Practical skills across a range of maintenance activities.
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual handling, lifting (up to 20kg) and general labouring duties.
Must hold a recognised trade qualification in carpentry, with additional skills and experience in painting, plumbing, landscaping or other related maintenance trades.
Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar, computer-based maintenance, facilities and asset management systems.
Experience working in schools environments or similar preferred
Must have a MR Licence for school bus driving and experience..
Good communication and customer service skills.
Current Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain one.
