Job summary

Levande is seeking a practical Maintenance Officer at Salford Waters in Victoria Point. Your role involves day-to-day maintenance, minor repairs, and coordinating with contractors to keep the village safe and welcoming for residents.

The position is permanent full-time, Monday to Friday, with responsibilities including bus driving when required. You will work in a community-focused environment delivering reliable maintenance services.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience across property, facilities, buildings or general maintenance.
• Strong practical problem-solving skills and the ability to undertake minor repairs safely.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety and ability to follow WHS requirements.
• Ability to organise workload and respond to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and minor repairs across village buildings, facilities and common areas.
• Respond to maintenance requests and identify issues early.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Coordinate contractors and trades when required.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and monitor tools and supplies.
• Support a safe environment and comply with WHS requirements.
• Build positive relationships with residents and keep them informed.
• Occasionally drive the village bus when needed.

Maintenance Officer at Salford Waters in Victoria Point

You’ll help keep our village safe, well maintained and welcoming for residents. You’ll have plenty of variety, from preventative maintenance and minor repairs to working with contractors and responding to day-to-day maintenance requests.

Permanent full-time | Monday to Friday | Up to $39 per hour

You’ll also occasionally step in to drive the village bus when our regular driver is unavailable, so a current MR licence (minimum) is essential.

What You Will Be Working On

You’ll Bring

• Basic computer skills for recording and tracking maintenance activities.
• A current MR driver's licence or higher – essential.
• A trade or maintenance-related qualification would be advantageous but isn't essential.
