CraigCare Maylands in WA is seeking a friendly Maintenance Officer to join our hands-on team. Based at Maylands Home, you’ll perform general maintenance to keep our home safe, comfortable and compliant for residents.

Based at our Maylands Home, you'll work closely with the Home Manager to keep our home safe, comfortable and operating at its best.
No two days are the same. One day you might be repairing a resident's mobility equipment, the next you're painting a room, coordinating contractors or keeping our preventative maintenance program on track.
Most importantly, you'll become a familiar, trusted face our residents enjoy seeing.
Complete general maintenance including painting, patching, minor carpentry, plumbing and repairs
Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance
Maintain resident equipment, including beds and wheelchairs
Coordinate and supervise contractors
Support fire safety, accreditation and building compliance
Maintain workshops, plant rooms and accurate maintenance records
Work closely with the Home Manager and wider CraigCare team to continually improve our home
