Job summary

Avani Living Queen's Wharf Residences is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Officer to join our Maintenance department on a full-time basis in Brisbane. You will undertake general property repairs, support preventative maintenance, and conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

You'll mentor external contractors, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to deliver timely, high-quality upkeep across the property while

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on building or property maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience supporting or implementing preventative maintenance programs.
• Sound organisational and time management skills.
• A proactive approach and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Availability to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

Avani Living Queen's Wharf Residences

are looking for a dedicated and hands-on Maintenance Officer to join our Maintenance department on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake general property repairs and maintenance as required.
• Assist in the execution of the preventative maintenance program to ensure optimal property performance.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.

Shift Details (subject To Change)

• Full-time position
• Monday to Friday roster (some weekend work may be required)
• Afterhours callouts may be required on an ad hoc basis
• $34.38 per hour
