Minor Hotels is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Officer for Avani Living Queen's Wharf Residences in Australia. This full-time role involves maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and facilities, with a Monday–Friday roster and occasional weekend work.

Compensation is $34.38 per hour. The successful candidate will have hands-on maintenance experience, strong organisational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Avani Living Queen's Wharf Residences are looking for a dedicated and hands-on Maintenance Officer to join our Maintenance department on a full-time basis. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the presentation, functionality, and safety of all guest rooms, public areas, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake general property repairs and maintenance as required.
• Assist in the execution of the preventative maintenance program to ensure optimal property performance.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
• Provide induction and supervision of external contractors as required.
• Maintain accurate daily work records and service schedules.
• Support the Maintenance Manager in managing contractor works and maintenance projects.

Shift Details (subject to change): Full-time position Monday to Friday roster (some weekend work may be required). After-hours callouts may be required on an ad-hoc basis.

$34.38 per hour.
