Holy Cross Services Ltd. seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead plant reliability, facilities and a small trades team at our Brisbane laundry site.

You will oversee preventative and reactive maintenance across plant and buildings, manage budgets, contractors and asset planning while driving safety and continuous improvement. This hands-on role requires budget proficiency, CMMS experience and strong team leadership.

• Experience leading tradespeople and contractors in a plant, industrial or maintenance environment.
• Background in commercial laundry, food processing, manufacturing or a similar high‑volume setting.
• Experience managing maintenance and capital budgets.
• Strong facility management and contractor coordination skills.
• Hands‑on experience with a CMMS.
• Ability to plan resources, manage performance and control costs.
• Ability to read mechanical and building drawings/specifications.
• Understanding of Australian Standards, legislation and building codes.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Trade or tertiary qualification in electrical, mechanical, facilities management or a related field.
• Experience with commercial laundry equipment, boilers and water treatment.
• Knowledge of steam, gas and compressed air systems.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance across plant, equipment, utilities, buildings and facilities to minimise downtime and disruption to laundry operations.
• Lead breakdown response, manage the maintenance system, spare parts, contractors, KPIs and rosters to support efficient site operations.
• Lead, supervise and develop the maintenance team to achieve business objectives, production targets and trade competency requirements.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance and training while fostering a positive and accountable team culture.
• Manage work orders, asset records, downtime tracking and maintenance reporting.
• Develop and manage the annual maintenance operating and capital budget in partnership with the Operations Manager.
• Control maintenance costs, purchasing, asset registers and lifecycle reporting, and provide regular budget and variance reporting.
• Ensure all maintenance and installation activities comply with Australian Standards, legislation, WHS and environmental requirements.
• Support a strong culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement.

We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Manager to lead plant reliability, facilities and a small trades team.

The plant operates Monday to Friday, 4:30am to 10:30pm, with weekend overtime as required depending on operational needs. This role is Monday to Friday during business hours, with occasional on‑call support.

You will oversee preventative and reactive maintenance across the laundry plant and building services, helping keep production running while managing budgets, contractors and asset planning.
