The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the overall management and coordination of maintenance and support personnel, maintenance training and development, supply support operations, budget management, and operational maintenance requirements of CAE's training devices across multiple sites. This role is critical to ensuring the successful delivery of maintenance and supply support services that enable end-user training outcomes within time, cost, quality, and regulatory requirements. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, maintain regulatory certifications, oversee operational performance, and ensure CAE meets its contractual obligations under the ASIST program. This is an opportunity to lead a high-performing maintenance function supporting advanced synthetic training systems used in defence aviation training environments.
Lead and coordinate maintenance and supply support operations across multiple sites to ensure training device availability and customer training success. Manage maintenance resources, schedules, budgets and priorities to meet contractual, operational and regulatory requirements. Ensure training devices maintain certification and compliance with applicable aviation regulatory authorities including CASA, EASA, FAA and UK CAA. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance, quality, safety and operational performance. Develop and lead a skilled workforce through training, performance management, coaching and succession planning. Monitor operational metrics, maintenance performance and costs, taking corrective action to achieve business and customer outcomes.
As the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible to obtain a Defence Security Clearance to work in this role. Please be mindful that one of the main requirements to obtain a clearance is Australian Citizenship.
