Job summary

SCIS Property Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Handyman/Carpenter to join our on-site team at a correctional facility in Berkshire Park. This full-time, permanent role involves delivering a range of maintenance tasks and ensuring safe, efficient operations.

You'll work with three other handymen, follow site procedures, perform pre-start safety checks, and close out jobs using the on-site iPad or laptop. Trade carpentry is desirable but not essential, and security clearances are required.

General Maintenance Technician - Maintenance handyman

Full-Time, Permanent Role

About the Role

We are a specialist maintenance company servicing Government and Commercialclients and are currently looking for a Maintenance Handyman/Carpenter to join our team. This position is based on-site at a correctional facility inBerkshire Park.

What You'll Be Doing

As an experienced Maintenance Handyman/Carpenter, you will work alongside three other handymen currently on-site delivering various maintenance works.

Complete various tasks to ensure the smooth and safe operating of the correctional facility.

Follow procedures on site, including pre-start safety checks and closing the job via a application on the on-site iPad or laptop.

What We're Looking For

You're an experienced handyman who takes pride in your work, values safety, and enjoys solving problems.

Trade Certificate in Carpentry is desired but not essential

Practical skills in manual handling, tool use, and basic repairs.

Ability to pass a National Police Check and other additional security clearances
