Job summary

Pact Group Holdings Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Fitter for its Pact Packaging division to perform preventive and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, ensuring reliability and performance.

You will diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults, conduct planned maintenance, and support continuous improvement while working with Production, Quality and Engineering teams. Shifts available: Day 6:00 AM–2:00 PM and Afternoon 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Maintenance Fitter or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing/production environments.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated equipment.
• Experience using CMMS and preventive maintenance systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Exposure to PLC-controlled equipment, welding or fabrication is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance to maximise reliability and performance.
• Diagnose and repair faults across mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Complete planned maintenance tasks and maintain CMMS records.
• Comply with WHS, quality, environmental and site safety requirements.
• Identify hazards and contribute to a safe workplace culture.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Assist with equipment installations, modifications and improvement projects.
• Read and interpret drawings and maintenance documentation.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and environmental compliance.
