Job summary

CCL Secure Pty in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join the Maintenance Department. You will maintain plant and equipment to the PM schedule, repair breakdowns, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role involves data entry into MEX, analysis of downtime history, and participation in projects to improve performance. A 12‑hour shift on a 24/5 roster with overtime is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in mechanical industry.
• Pneumatic experience preferred; printing industry experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem solving and analytical thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant and equipment to the prescribed PM schedule and repair breakdowns.
• Ensure safety and regulatory requirements are met for all machinery.
• Enter detailed maintenance history into MEX with downtime data.
• Analyze maintenance and downtime history to align PM schedules.
• Participate in projects and provide insights on performance improvements.
• Prepare daily and required maintenance reports in a timely manner.
