Job summary

JBS Prime City Feedlot is seeking a motivated, experienced maintenance professional to join our team. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, diagnostics and repairs across grain mill, grain receival and general feedlot equipment.

You will update maintenance records, manage stock, and help ensure compliance with WHS, QA and environmental obligations. Accredited confined space or working at heights certificates are a plus.

Qualifications

• Relevant trade qualifications and demonstrated suitable experience.
• Maintenance experience with grain milling, grain handling and a variety of machinery and equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and individually.
• Accredited Confined Space and Working at Heights Certificates desirable (but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine preventative maintenance programs
• Breakdown diagnosis and subsequent repairs to grain mill, grain receival, various heavy plant and general feedlot equipment and infrastructure
• General feedlot maintenance tasks as required, including routine parts ordering, stock control and stocktaking
• Updating of maintenance records and job sheets
• Maintaining compliance with JBS Australia policies, including but not limited to: WHS, HR, QA, Animal Welfare & Environmental obligations
