Job summary

Synergie is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter / Technician for a Campbellfield manufacturing site. You will perform preventative maintenance, fault finding and mechanical repairs on plant machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and compliance with safety procedures.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 7:00am–4:30pm, with a salary of $90,000–$100,000 per year plus super. You will undertake fitting, turning and welding tasks, coordinate contractors, and contribute to continuous improvement in a

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Fitter & Turner trade qualification.
• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, mechanical repairs and breakdown troubleshooting on plant machinery.
• Diagnose equipment faults and carry out repairs to minimise production downtime.
• Undertake fitting, turning, welding and general mechanical maintenance duties.
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules and service records.
• Coordinate external contractors and assist with equipment installations and improvements.
• Conduct machinery inspections and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures.
