Job summary

CSR Bringelly is seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to sustain plant reliability in a 24/7 manufacturing setting. You will report to the Maintenance Manager and work a Monday to Friday day shift roster with 5:00am or 6:00am starts.

You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, fault-finding, hydraulics/pneumatics work, welding and fabrication, while upholding safety standards and supporting continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter with strong fault-finding skills.
• Experience in manufacturing or heavy industry preferred.
• Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections and planned repairs
• Troubleshooting mechanical faults and equipment breakdowns
• Support corrective maintenance to minimise downtime
• Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Fabricate and modify plant equipment as required
• Welding and mechanical fitting on production assets
• Install and replace bearings and other components
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure maintenance activities are completed safely
