Job summary

Leading Food Manufacturer in Melbourne is seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join a busy maintenance team. The role runs on a 6:00am–2:00pm day shift, with substantial overtime opportunities and a strong culture that values its people.

You should be a qualified Mechanical Fitter / Fitter & Turner with FMCG or industrial experience, adept at fault finding and proactive maintenance within a packaging facility.

Qualifications

• Qualified Mechanical Fitter with FMCG/industrial manufacturing experience.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with preventative and reactive maintenance in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance across production and packaging equipment.
• Fault finding and root cause analysis to minimise downtime.
• Support continuous improvement within the maintenance team.
